LAND ROUTE: If you are an experienced driver, travelling by car
offers incomparable freedom. Datca is 350 km. from İzmir,
the third largest city in Turkey located on the Aegean
sea and 72 km. from Marmaris, a port city on the coast
of Mediterranean. The road from Marmaris is in itself
enjoyable. It goes through magnicient scenery with
pine forests and secluded beaches.
You can find a lot of bus companies travelling
to Datca from İzmir. Traveling to Datca from Marmaris
is quiet easy as well. Air-conditioned minibuses
travel from Marmaris to Datca every hour. Once you
arrive to Datca, there are frequent
minibuses to Mesudiye, which will take you
right in front of Melinda Pension, passing through
magnificent scenery. Especially if you pass in the
spring, the odor is quiet tempting!

SEA ROUTE: On Fridays, you can take the boat from Istanbul to Izmir
by resting comfortably for one night. Then from Izmir, you
arrive at Datca approximately within 3-4 hours. Between June
and October, there are ferries from Bodrum to Datca,
travelling both ways, at 9:00 A.M and 5:00 P.M. The route
itself is a short blue cruise! ( It takes almost 2 hours)
Cars, caravans and motorbikes ara allowed in the ferry.For

AIR ROUTE: There are a lot of airways flying both to Dalaman and
Bodrum, which are touristic destinations. Dalaman airport is
170 km. to Datca and airways offer bus services to Marmaris.
If you fly to Bodrum, arranging the plane schedule so that
you can catch the ferry to Datca is also convenient.
